All-In-One Versatility With Unparalleled Capabilities
Icom introduces a new all-in-one repeater that can operate as a desktop, rack mount, field or vehicle repeater or as a base station. This powerful repeater features duplexer fine tuning, room for components, DTMF remote capability and exceptional power.
The durability and flexibility of this repeater make it perfect for mobile and field uses in which instant clear communication is required. With a sturdy die-cast aluminum chassis, the FR4000 can be used as a 45-watt base station with 32 different channels, making it possible to set up a mobile communication station anywhere.
Icom did not sacrifice performance for flexibility. Duplexer fine tuning allows for quicker installation and service by tuning the duplexers without removing the repeater from its mounting. The capabilities can be expanded with internal space to fit a duplexer and isolator in the repeater. A DTMF signal means that you can control the repeater remotely for control.
Other features include an automatic battery backup system, multiple CTCSS & DTCS tone memories with, multiple memory channels. Built in 2-tone, 5-tone, DTMF encoder & decoder, telephone interconnect capability, 32 channels and accessory connector on the rear panel.
